Golf in Mexico

1destinations
3courses

Golf in Mexico is resort golf: courses by Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Tom Weiskopf or Tiger Woods, laid out in desert, jungle or along clifftops, often tied to a fine hotel. Los Cabos, at the tip of Baja California, has eighteen of them, between cactus and Pacific; the PGA Tour stops there every autumn at El Cardonal. On the Caribbean coast, the Riviera Maya plays through mangroves and jungle, notably at Mayakoba.

The season runs from November to April, in the dry months, across the country. On the Pacific, hurricanes are possible from mid-May to the end of November, peaking from July to September. Many courses are private or reserved for guests of certain hotels, so where you stay decides where you play. We arrange tailor-made trips there, with hotels that open the right courses, reserved tee times and private transfers.
